Highschool of the dead
Review: High School of the Dead

(Note: the manga uses “highschool” as one word, though the correct use is 2 words: high school, which is what the English version of the TV show uses.) Awhile back, Jon did a preliminary (zombie) review on High School of the Dead, then 2 months later, he finished watching the series (and read a bit more of the manga) and did a wrap-up review. Given Jon’s interest, when I noticed that netflix had the show available on Instant Watch, I figured I would take a look.
Wrapup Review: Highschool of the Dead (Season 1)

Last month I did a “Zombie Review” for the anime, Highschool of the Dead. At that point in time we weren’t terribly far into the series. While I titled it a review, it was, in large part, an introduction. Since they’ve wrapped up season 1, I thought it was worth reviewing again. This time I’ll stick to reviewing it, and presume that if you need an introduction — you can go back and find it. Note: Basically no spoilers
Zombie Review: Highschool of the Dead

Saeko Busujima (Kendo) Recently a friend recommended to me a new manga by the name of “Highschool of the Dead” (Editor’s note: the manga uses “highschool” as one word, so when referring to the title we will as well, though the correct use is 2 words: high school). He described to me the basic story following high school students during a zombie apocalypse and to be honest I wasn’t all that enthused. I’m not a fan of the horror/thriller genre in basically any media. The three items that convinced me to give it a try was A) my friend thought one of the characters in the story was very much like me (it involves being trained by Blackwater) B) It’s got some good (funny) lines and C) Tits. Tits sell anything. After checking out the series, I’m glad I did. Enough so that I think everyone should check it out.
