52 is the number, the magical number. This is the number of 802.11B/G AP’s I picked up on my drive home. Now my drive home is a measily 2 miles. Also, this wasn’t picked up from a machine with a special external card & omni-directional antenna — These 52 networks were picked up by my Toshiba laptop with built in 802.11b. WOW.

I’ll be posting statistics latter, a brief glance looks like about 50/50 secure/unsecured with all networks being on channels 1,6 or 11.
