The title is self explanitory. IF you were thinking about buying an Averatec notebook (laptop) computer — DONT DO IT. I have a 6100 — As I have mentioned before — And it needs new drivers. Most companies release new drivers every few months — well — Its been 9 months since I bought my laptop (and over a year since the laptop was released). Averatec hasn’t updated a single god damned driver for this machine.
Why is this so frustrating? Because they gimped the laptop — You can’t install ATI’s drivers. So I’m screwed — I can’t play games or do anything graphic intensive anymore. I have a call into them and several emails but their response has been “well thats the newest we have” — Bull shit.
