I’m looking for a way to compress files on the fly for transfer. I dont mean rar the file, then copy, I mean copying while its compressing. Aparently this is more difficult that it seems. The only logical solution I can find is using Apache w/ Gzip and a compatable browser (but I want to use something like wget).
I’ve found one hardware options to this (no intrested), otherwise no luck. Anyone else have a solution?
