Halloween has come and gone, and the few retail stores that haven’t already put up Christmas merchandise will be doing so shortly. Most of them have had their Christmas/Winter Holiday merchandise up since early last month. Heck, most of the places I noticed had their Christmas merchandise up BEFORE Halloween. That is pretty darn ridiculous.
On the plus side, going to your local supermarket today can yield some pretty tasty deals on some leftover candy. Mmm…. leftover candy. I, for one, will not be going, however as I forgot that I would be otherwise engaged on Halloween and thus the candy I purchased for my trick or treaters will have to be consumed by me. Alas, such is life. Which brings me to my next point: What is your favorite Halloween candy (or I guess any time candy)?
For me… I’d say Rolos, Heath Bars (Skor bars are acceptable as well), and Butterfingers are my top three.
