For those of us who aren’t super crafty types, when one mentions “Pinterest” typically the mind jumps to “Pinterest Fails“. You can Google that and find hundreds of websites dedicated to the very topic. However today we’re discussing the opposite, Pinterest success stories, or more specifically one success story. This particular story centers around my niece who had mentioned to me before that she was a fan of Pinterest . However, I had no idea how amazing the results could be until this weekend at her wedding.

What follows is a comparison of just a small sample of items from Pinterest and the resulting photos I took from the wedding. While I didn’t always take the best photos, you will clearly see how spot-on many of these ideas are. If you’re looking for proof that Pinterest ideas can be applied to real life, look no further.

Again, this was just a small sampling of what I found in both Pinterest and real life. There were dozen more examples I could have pulled, but you get the idea. After the wedding was the first time I looked at the Pinterest board and also the first time I realized how many more “little things” from the wedding were inspired from Pinterest. The key for all this was a lot of time, planning, and space. My niece had been hard at work planning for her wedding for just shy of one year. The happy couple needed to rent a storage locker for supply storage AND a U-Haul to bring it up to the wedding location. They did all this work so they could save money where they could, rather than paying the outrageous rates associated with the word “wedding”. Of course, with or without these amazing wedding features, it was lovely and congratulations are in order for the newly weds.
