GET XP INSTALLED ON A MACINTEL.
Apparently today the movie of XP on a Macintel has hit the net. Now I’m all for XP on a Macintel, I think that would be sweet. If it were true I’d almost consider getting a macintel mini or something similar (not a laptop — cause I must have at least 2 mouse buttons — and I’d hate to operate XP on 1).
But for the love of god, stop arguing people. Just read the comments on the engadget page to see how split people are. It seems like an even 3 way split to me. 30% of the people insist this video must be true. 30% insist it must be false. The last 30% don’t care and just want the argument over. Now those two opposing sides are going at each other with a good amount of hate and despise. Personally I think that all the technical issues will be a problem getting XP to run on a Macintel — but nothing is impossible.
If you don’t believe me, just look at the Linux OS. Its an entire OS made by volunteers across the globe. Oh, and we put a man on the moon (don’t even start with the “it was filmed on a sound stage” crap with me).
