Don’t know about 9.1, but 10-LTS makes it easy to remap the win key – go to “keyboard shortcuts” in the apps/system menu, system menu if you’re using the clutter desktop on netbook remix, which is pretty nice, and remap it. easy! start/winkey-E opens my home, for example. start-L firefox, win-D shows the clutter desktop, and win-F11 minimizes the taskbar (start bar?). win-f gives me a search/find dialogue.

    the possibilities are endless!!

It’s nice to know that they finally made this much easier. Previously it was a little more difficult than it should be.

Your UNR will boot much faster if you install it in a SD card. That is, insert a SD card and use as if it is another hard drive, install Ubuntu in it, and use the main disk for you archives. You’ll be amazed as to how much faster it is in all senses.
