So after my last fit with Averatec I filled a BBB report against them. Here’s what I got back:

Our systems engineer is in the process in getting this posted on our website. We have been working on this and are hoping to have the information on our website by end of next week (07-15).
Now if you’ll look at the time, its the end of the day on 7/15. Guess what… Still no new drivers. They want to be emailed at [email protected], but they dont respond to their emails. I’m rather sure I could emailbomb them and they wouldn’t even notice. If anyone else has an Averatec — Please — File a BBB report about them. Force the computer companies to support their damned hardware.
