Squid + SSL != work?

Posted on 2005-10-03 By Jon No Comments on Squid + SSL != work?

I’m trying to get Squid to passive proxy for me, it works fine for normal HTTP requests (aka port 80) but as soon as I try to get SSL (port 443) requests working — it just hates me. I know there is something special I have to do — because you cant “proxy” SSL requests per say — you can only bounce them… but I cant seem to find what that special something is.

May take me a few days for this one.
