Retrospect + Exchange 2007? Eventually? Maybe?

Posted on 2008-01-26 By Jon No Comments on Retrospect + Exchange 2007? Eventually? Maybe?

As much as I hate commercial backup software, we have Retrospect in the office that we use. When I bought the latest version with our new servers back in early last year, I asked Retrospect supported Exchange 2007. I was told that it didn’t, but it would be “in the near future” (2007-03-01). Every few months I email them asking for status. According to the most recent check “Exchange 2007 support is due next week. A bit of a delay, but we are finally here” (2008-01-24). So for all those out there hoping to use Retrospect on your Exchange 2007 servers (like me), rejoice! Well, Rejoice when you actually see it.
