As Jon announced at the beginning of the year we have moved to 5 posts a week. 4 months in and we are still able to do it, yes there have been a few snags and filler pieces, but overall it seems to have worked out well and we have no plans to go back to the 3 a week schedule.
Jon has been especially pleased with the uptick in blog traffic and both of us are enjoying seeing more comments on the blog (your comments, positive or negative, occasionally make us feel like the blog is serving some useful purpose).
Today’s entry is just a quick pause to check in with our regular readers and see if there is any topic y’all would like to see more of. Right now, our top articles involve Optimizing Windows 7 for Netbooks, OpenVPN (along with its precursor entry), and dealing with those pesky subtitles in Windows 7. Lately, however we have had a couple of our newer articles rising in popularity:
iPad. Biggest. Flop. Ever. — which recently received a comment from beyond the grave! (obviously not really, the poster’s incorrect usage of the word “posthumously” was amusing to me though)
How To: Restore Firefox 3.6 tab opening order — which has had a surprising rise in popularity due to the amount of confusion the new feature (which I still like) caused. Heck, we’ve even had random people tweet about it. Said random person, Liz Upton, actually has her own wonderful blog which contains many pretty pictures of things you will want to put in your mouth.
Anywho, feel free to throw some suggestions our way in the comments.
